"I would have given 5 stars, except: At time of reservation, which was many weeks in advance, I specifically requested not to be placed on the first floor. I got a “noted” response from Embassy Suites. When I went to check in, guess where our room was going to be? You guessed it, first floor! It was changed, but the person doing it acted like it was a Herculean task. Maybe if my original request had been processed? That being said, props to housekeeping. Our room was clean as a whistle. "We stayed at Sedona Real Inn for one night. The room is spacious and clean. Very easy access to many trails, especially if you want to go to devil’s bridge. Staff are super friendly and gave us advices for finding parking spots near trails."

"Our room did not have any towels except for one hand towel and the shampoo dispenser was empty. I did not realize this until the morning after the evening we checked in. I asked for towels to be delivered to our room but the young man at the front desk said he was alone and could not leave the desk. So, I fetched them myself. However, the woman checking us out gave us excellent service. I wish I had taken down her name. She had very attractive gray hair and a nice smile."

"Front Desk Staff ,Jeffery, was very helpful and pleasant. Location is great with a large park across the street. Price for Scottsdale was wonderful. However, the room itself: couch had stains and the shower wasn't operating properly. The stains were questionable so we turn the cushions upside down and it looked much better. The shower plumbing needs some work as more water seems to come out the bath spout than out the shower head. "
