"Hospitality was on point--receptionist helped us book our airport taxi, recommended some great eats. Location was sublime--15 mins walk to Poetto beach, 5 mins walk to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, plus near many bus stations as well. One criticism from me is the hotel creaks and have a lot of sounds, i.e neighbour flushing, clanking in vents/walls, etc. I am a heavy sleeper so no issue for me but may pose a problem to light sleepers. "First of all, we were actually impressed and glad that upon arriving early in the morning with no notice to the hotel, they had our room ready. But then once seeing the room - dirty and stuffy, we weren’t too happy anymore. Food is a buffet, so expectations weren’t high to begin with. It is self served, including beverages. The hotel will provide you a “taxi” company business card and they charge you double what the the local taxi cabs will but won’t tell you anything about how to get a hold of a local taxi. We kept the number of a taxi driver from the airport and stuck with him for the remaining of the trip once we realized that the hotel had no intention of helping us out. I also left behind a pair of earrings of no monetary value, but definitely sentimental, had to check out at 4am for an early flight and I forgot to grab them off the table. I reached out to the hotel via email, since their phone never works, and asked if there was any way the earrings can be returned to me, they never responded. Didn’t surprise me though! Anyways, the beach is gorgeous!!! Only good thing about the whole stay. Definitely would not recommend staying here. But maybe close by due to how beautiful the beach is."
