"It was a renovated building with both character and class. Appreciate the architecture and historical nature of the property. It had very adequate sized rooms - certainly limited in size due to the constraints of the “period of time” nature of the building, yet very well designed and functional. Not your typical hotel property, but unique in a “good way”. Would definitely recommend for adults, but perhaps not an ideal property for families with young children. "

"The check-in desk was not on ground floor. Would be helpful to have a person in the ground floor to direct you. It was not difficult to figure out, but weary travels could benefit from having a person on the ground level. "

"located right on Laker Michigan, the view was amazing. Only a block walk to get to the lakeshore walking path, and less than a 1 mile to Navy pier, the Art Institute of Chicago. Lots of great restaurants nearby. "
