"Exquisite rooms, decor and gardens. Peaceful, relaxing. Superb staff. Superb food and service. We loved everything about Prestonfield House. Wished we could have stayed a day longer."
"Staff was great. Breakfast was awesome. Occasional drunks outside. Centrally located, iconic building. Didn’t like staff knocking insistently for turn down service when I’m watching TV."
"We stayed in the new section which is the building behind the main entrance on High St. It was super quiet, the apartments are handsomely appointed and the location was wonderful. So while you're in the heart of a tourist area, you'd never know it. We loved everything about this hotel and it has a great gym."
"Very comfortable apartment. Very quiet neighborhood. Fantastic location. Well appointed rooms. Stay here. Perfect for walking around Edinburgh yet having a peaceful home."
"The hotel was amazing from the minute we stepped inside the staff were so helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was fantastic. Special mention to Jamie the concierge who was very good "

"We loved our 3 nights’ stay here.
Conveniently located.
Friendly staff.
I am a light sleeper and did hear traffic but I suppose it is unavoidable given the location.
I will have no hesitation in recommending this place."
