"The staff were excellent - really helpful, friendly and efficient. Our room was spotlessly clean, the accoutrements were replenished every day and the amenities were modern. Breakfast was a well presented, well organised event every morning - hot fresh tasty food, plenty of fruit and pastries, and juices/hot drinks. "Hotel was clean and staff very pleasant. Made to feel welcome and given good info at check-in about meal options. Room had some balloons and banners put up for my wife as it was her birthday which was a nice touch. Used the leisure facilities and spa which were both very good. Nice walk down to Portobello beach too and Fort Kinnaird shopping not too far away for cinema & restaurants"

"Location is great. Breakfast is superb. Only problem is they don't understand "over easy" eggs. The might understand "light" instead. When I go back next year I'll bring a picture. It's a historic building but the remodel is modern and tasteful. All staff are friendly and responsive to my needs."
