"Stayed here twice--a couple years ago and recently (a couple weeks ago). Both times, was great. The two masters are great, and the kids enjoyed their own hideout--the loft area, which has twin bunk and a pull-out sofa, and TV. Very clean, and great communication with the owner from the instant I booked to the time I left. Feels more spacious than the photos, feels like a stand-alone home. A stone's throw from Tahoe Donner. Would definitely book here again!"

"The property by itself is 20min far from the lake. The picture of the lake in hotel booking pictures will confuse you, well just letting you know there is no lake or river around the hotel. It’s a totally different Ritz property that you can book separately from the hotel and stay there. They charge $800 per person and it’s only for 24hours or less to spend there. Yes I checked the map as well before I was booking and was wondering how come in the pictures I see lake in front of the hotel but on...

"Spacious and well equipped 3 bed, 3 bath. Loved the cozy fireplace both inside and on the patio. Tv was difficult to operate and without instructions. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Grounds were in some disrepair and hot tub we were directed to was very dirty and full of debris. Main pool hot tub was great though. Love the convenience of the village. "
