"Stayed here twice--a couple years ago and recently (a couple weeks ago). Both times, was great. The two masters are great, and the kids enjoyed their own hideout--the loft area, which has twin bunk and a pull-out sofa, and TV. Very clean, and great communication with the owner from the instant I booked to the time I left. Feels more spacious than the photos, feels like a stand-alone home. A stone's throw from Tahoe Donner. Would definitely book here again!"

"We loved our stay at Schaffer Mill. The house was nicer than the pictures showed and everything was well appointed. The house is close to all the amenities such as the pool, tennis courts, basketball court and restaurant. We had a few questions when we arrived and all the Schaffer Mill staff were helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!"

Every room & bathroom in the house was gorgeous and had plenty of room. Unfortunately we stayed here during a historic snowfall event (10' of snow in 5 days) and Skislope Way is the last road the town plows during snowfall.
