"The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of LA. It has that feeling of old fashion grandeur without being out of date. Room service food was amazing for room service food, though a bit pricey. Wonderful staff at check in and valet parking. No pressure to tip but I did because it was well deserved. Pet friendly. Wonderful five star luxury!"
"It was stepping into Old Hollywood, and I was very pleased with the staff I had contact with. The classic movie was the reason for the trip and I would like to do it again."
"The highlight for me was the exceptional service provided by Yasmin. On more than one occasion Yasmin was a great help. A "life-saver" on one occasion after we checked out and I left our passports and cash in the safe. Yasmin retrieved them for us and kept them safe until we could return.
Generally, all the staff were helpful with things like giving directions around the area or getting items for the room.
The location was great and the area immediately around the hotel was quite tranquil.

"The staff was very helpful in providing information and always willing to help with obtaining transportation and arranging outings for us. Food and service at the Fig was excellent. Our room was a deluxe premium facing the ocean was nice but very small. We were bumping into each other at times."
