"We normally stay at a different resort when visiting Scottsdale, but thought we'd give the McCormick a try. We were very pleased with everything. Our room was easily accessed, it was quiet, and our room was very large...and had a view of the lake, pool, and grounds. The pool area had enough lounge chairs for the guests and the food and drink for the pool area was affordable and plentiful. The desk staff were accommodating and kind. What was also wonderful was that check-out time was 12:00, giving us time to get ready in the morning and not sit around without our room until our flight home. Additionally, we were able to pay a fee to have early check-in when we arrived, allowing us to have a room to dress for the pool!"

"This place make me feel like I'm on vacation. I feel like I'm at a small resort in Mexico. The swimming pool is a nice place to enjoy. The water park it's an extra bonus with a couple of swimming pool and a long lazy river. Room is a bit dim and a little old for me. But it was clean and big. I would stay here again"

"Our room was great. Overall, you can't go wrong here. A couple of nit-picks: 1) The windows don't do a great job of reflecting the heat ... our room was facing the morning sun and you could feel more heat than you would expect just being within a few feet of the CLOSED curtains - this could be WAY more efficient with the proper windows for the valley of the sun ... 2) The roof above the short half of the building (stops above the 8th floor) would be great for an outdoor reception space (or even a restaurant and/or play pool) ... totally wasted space and as is, a bit unsightly from the 9th floor and above ... it could be fantastic with the right decor!"
