"Seven of us stayed at this house. We so appreciated that each bedroom had its own bath. It made it much easier to get ready all at once for the nearby family wedding. The house was close to the wedding venue and to other restaurants. This rental served its purpose for a brief stay, but I would not stay at this rental if it were for a vacation, since there was no oven for cooking and only a very small cooktop. Also, there were no instructions on how to regulate the thermostat."

"Spaciousness surrounded by beautiful vistas. Outdoor living was divine and the interior extremely accommodating for us and entertaining local family members. We cooked then feasted and frolicked, in the sun then rested and snuggled when it rained. Everything is close and convenient for out-of-towners to access groceries and restaurants. Oh, there is a road runner bird who is very friendly too. We will book again. Thank you Dutch and team."

"The home was beautiful and the host very gracious. In San Marcos for the birth of our first granddaughter. We had only one small repair needed for a towel bar; this was corrected immediately. Our host checked-in on us and ensured we had a relaxing stay. Enjoyed use of the garage, and the patio was my work and our social area. Recommend highly."

"My goal was to find a quiet place in San Marcos to recover from elective surgery....and that is exactly what I found! A well-appointed home with a newly renovated kitchen. The rooms were comfortable, and when it was warm enough, the back patio offered a private little oasis. We loved how close it was to a local grocery store, a variety of different restaurants, and we discovered a really interesting historic park a few miles away. If you are a super lite sleeper, I'd suggest using a white noise...

"House was great. Clean, comfortable and very convenient. Location was perfect. Close to the restaurants and the golf course. Beautiful view."

"Would've been great if more choices for breakfast and room cleanliness. Food was ok and bare minimum, room was descent size but always smelled stuffy even with ac on and bed sheets and duvet covers were stained. Reception and breakfast area always smells stinky due to breakfast area is open. Was expecting better stays with the high prices."

"It was fabulous we have to go again and stay on the lake. I have to say though we ordered room service. The fish and chip was all soggy so it was not great. My baked chicken was not cooked well enough and I was afraid to eat it. But we had breakfast in the dining area and it was quite good."

"We had a wonderful time at the house! We received so many praises on the house and it's unique architecture while we were there for our small family wedding! The upstairs portion was perfect for our family who came from out of town, and the master bedroom and bathroom was a perfect romantic get away for us, the married couple! I hope we can stay there again for our next family gathering!"
