"I have found this wonderful the Historic Hershey Cabin when I was searching for a place for myself for retreat. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in this special cabin. First of all, this unique cabin is the best for a single traveler or for a couple who look for a romantic getaway or just a retreat in the forest. The owner Paul and his wife literally thought every details you might need during your stay. Everything was 10 out of ten for me. I will definitely will stay in this place. Thank you...

"We had a great time staying here. It is so well equipped and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after a day of exploring Yosemite. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are spacious. Ted and Connie were lovely and very communicative."

"Well maintained property. Hosts thought of everything one may need for a comfortable stay. Living area/kitchen is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Outside areas perfect for family fun. The gentleman that opened the hat for us was very nice. One thing I did notice was that other guests left some condiments, groceries. We needed an ingredient and noted that it was out dated. Hosts may need to go thru leftover items and discard the outdated ones."

"Such a wonderful condo to stay in while at Pismo Beach. Easy to find, walking distance to the beach and it has its own garage. Double bonus!"

"The accommodations were superb and extremely clean. We chose the option with no kitchen or bathroom. The shared bathroom was spotless and close to the room. it was so pleasant sitting on the porch for meals and watching the wildlife all around. My only criticism would be that the mattress was not comfortable for us - too hard. A foam pad would have solved that issue. So would a better mattress."

"Loved that this cozy cabin was located within Yosemite NP. Everything we needed was there to make our stay comfortable. Located off the beaten path so suggest finding your way there before dark!"

"We loved our two day stay at Aftermath! We had some serious wind both days, but it didn’t deter us from enjoying our time there. We still got in the hot tub and watched the sunset! The cabin is really cozy in the evening with the fireplace going, and cooking up our meals in the open kitchen. It was the perfect retreat for us! We shall return!"

"We just love coming to this property. This time we came for a wedding at the old fire house next to the lake so talk about convenience. Came early to enjoy the outdoor, was able to get dressy for the wedding and go to and from only a short distance. Full amenities so we can bring our own food. The owners leave firewood to use and on day 2 the dog and rain rolled in so we used it all! With another night in front of us, and to our surprise, the owners refilled our wood discreetly and messaged us...

"This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "

"Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times."
