Secrets Maroma is A . The beach and water is stunning, amazing sand even in the ocean with no rocks or coral. The food was excellent and the service was amazing, we did tip, but even when we didn't, we still got great service. The food is amazing, best food at 5 hotel we have stayed yet on the Mayan. Night entertainment was great, the event teams put alot of effort into the details and there is a wide range of entertainment. Overall, we will def return, do not hesitate to stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Service, Food, and Entertainment, all while in paradise! Prior to our visit we were told that Maroma Beach routinely ranks as a top beach in the world, after a weeks stay I can comfortably say I agree! This resort is class and romantic without feeling stuffy. Reading some reviews about food being less than perfect is just people wanting to complain about something we had zero complaints as the food was great. We will be coming back to Maroma as well as trying other Secrets properties based on this trip!

The resort is beautiful and the service is amazing! What a wonderful time had by all. One negative is the PRESSURE to take the tour for the "time share" If we receive that amount of pressure from the lady in Preferred Club again, we won't return. She would not take a polite, no thank you.

Great disposition from the majority of the staff to welcome and solve any requests made to them. The property was very well kept. The food was good, but not excellent. They should be proactive in offering a transport service from and to the airport making it more convenient for guests. Everything else was absolutely incredible. My wife and I had a relaxing and very quiet week! Kudos to Rodrigo, Antonio, Luis, Miguel and Ana for a tremendous effort to please us and make us feel pampered!!!

The proprietary was amazig. The only bad side the food needs some extra attention. Room service food was cold and the Philly cheese steak was hard and impossible to be eaten. Overall I will revisit the resort.

The service overall was great. The food was pretty good. Room- preferred club swim out was spacious and comfy bed. Concierge was very helpful and responded anytime we reached out. The spa excellent. You can tell for the most part everyone cares about making sure you have a good stay. We didn’t eat at all the restaurants but most were good. Steakhouse least favorite and Hibachi favorite for food but service the French restaurant was the best. Check out not as pleasant as checking in but not too bad. We enjoyed the beach and always had a spot when we went out. Pool was usually more crowded. The entertainment was good. We had a nice relaxing vacation and actually decided to just stay in the resort for our 5 night stay. Would go back but would like to try other Secret resorts.
