"The hotel was on the canal which made it easy for water taxi. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and classy although a little small. The location is a 20 minute plus walk to St Marks Square, but that is probably a good thing since it's much quieter here. Close to bridge to train station where Venetian commuters come and go. I would stay again if back in Venice."

"Personally we liked that it was outside of the island of venice. It was in a quiet area, but super convenient to the airport and to a frequent bus that takes you right to the island. "

"We had a wonderful stay in Venice at the Carnival Palace Hotel. Fantastic views of the canal in a very quiet location in the city. Lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby plus three water taxi stops. Marco was very helpful with checkin, anniversary extras, plus restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our room was super clean with daily service. Breakfast was a good mixture of savory and sweet. When we return to Venice, we will stay at the Carnival Palace again."

"I wanted to treat ourselves so we splurged on our hotel. It was a little run down compared to their pictures. The breakfast was AMAZING and the fresh coffee and croissants are top notch. "

"Great base for sightseeing in Venice and combining beach holiday on the Lido. Great value. Also the night receptionist on check out on the morning of Sunday 14th April was extremely helpful and obliging. Only sorry we didnt have any cssh to tip him only card! The decor is a bit clasic for some but has character. Would stay again. "
