"This is probably the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed. I have written many reviews and never have I ever had the pleasure to write such a glowing compliment about a place we have stayed . We spent only one night here, but we have been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hotel staff . We were greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk who upgraded us to a suite and very kind. "The location is a bit remote, as expected, and the farm was charming from the perspective of our young children. The beds are hard, however, and the shower is small. The food is ok. It is not a high-end farm experience, if that is your desire."

"Good place to stay. Quiet and low key. The Pasta Norma served for dinner was the best I had in all of Italy. They hand make their pasta and it’s delicious. The breakfast was a bit lacking as there is no hot food. The pool was too cold in November and looked a bit dirty, so we didn’t use it. We enjoyed a hike in the citrus grove connected to the property. Not a bad place to stay. "

"The staff was extremely helpful in getting us and our luggage from and to our car. She gave us a printed map with suggestions for the key spots. The location is smack in the middle of the center of Ortigia. Excellent breakfast with the a wide range of options and high quality food. "

"A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities. Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly. We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board. A few suggestions for improvements would be that houskeeing were a bit random about changing towels/emptying bins etc. One day our shower mat disappeared and was not replaced until the next day Our minibar was totally empty until 2 days before we were leaving (not that we used it anyway) and there was no way to spread towels out to dry. The variety on the buffet for dinner was great but hot food was not really any more than warm. If there was a way to improve this and maybe heat the pkates that would help. The black rice and sushimi we had one night as part of the buffet were particularly good. Pizza restaurant was good and we also tried the a la carte restaurant which was lovely. Great parking tip for Catania from the front desk. Thank you. "
