"Good stay here. Lovely and enthusiastic service. Welcomed by Francesca immediately. This is a place that want to make you a happy guest. Parking is mere yards away. As close or closer than hotels with their own lot. No worries here. Breakfast was customary. Pastries, ham and cheese and breads with coffee, teas, orange juice, granola. Great toiletries (Rituals)! "This is the second time I've stayed at this property and once again it was a very rewarding experience. It's a family run hotel and there is a great deal of warmth toward customers. My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."

"Great property! Fantastic location and rooms were clean and spacious. Staff is also amazing here - they are not only very helpful but so kind - my mom has dietary/health restrictions so she wanted to heat up her own food and they were so accommodating. "We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"Charming Residenza right in the historic centre of Lucca, about 15 minutes from Anfiteatro. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had an adorable balcony where we breakfasted al fresco each morning. Alessandra was delightful. She speaks excellent English and was efficient and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. "
