"yes the room was a bit dated but it's clean and has everything you need. bed was very firm but this seems to just be an Italian thing as another place we stayed also had a similarly firm mattress. staff are very pleasant and helpful, location is great, walking distance from all the key sights in Florence and a bus stop right outside. for the price you pay it's pretty good value."

"The front desk staff were fabulous and so willing to help with all our questions and making suggestions The location was lovely. The only thing that I really didn’t like is the gym doesn’t open till 9:00. I like to workout early "
