"It was all very good until check out as I was being accused taking their laundry bag. After few discussions they agreed not to charge the cost of laundry bag. However it already left a bad taste in my mouth so I took one star off. The location was very good being close to the bikini but it’s under construction while I was there. It made the water so murky that it wasn’t very inviting as well as the noise of the trucks killed the peace & quite. I’m sure in a year the beach will be nice again....

"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. You can see Male as it is really close by, but on the other hand you don't need to spent extra hours for getting to the island. Highly recommend this hotel to all lovers of the tranquil holidays."

"Absolutely outstanding week in a water bungalow. Excellent staff and service, facilities, food and could not have had a more brilliant time. It is a magical island and surrounded by unbelievably beautiful incredible sea life. Could not recommend more highly. Susil and Aalif in the outdoor dining, Schoag our room attendant, Shareef at the pool restaurant and Dinnusha the pool lady .... were all especially 5*****!"

" My personal resort host Niyaaf greeted me immediately upon my arrival after traveling for almost 36h to get to my resort from Canada. Despite traveling alone I felt safe and welcome the whole time. The resort staff give a loving family vibe. Everything from the delicious food to the breathtaking house reef was amazing. Very flavorful food, good presentation, excellent service. The excursions were awesome! I got to snorkel with a whale shark and many Manta rays. We saw Dolphins on that excursion...

"We have a lovely stay at the Adaaran. It’s a little paradise. Food is excellent. Cocktails are great. The room are lovely and so is the private pool. The surrounding waters are pristine and we saw multiple sea turtles while snorkeling around our villa which was definitely the highlight of our trip. The staff provided us a lovely cake and bottle of bubbly to celebrate our honeymoon. Another amazing benefit is the resort is only a 15 minute speedboat from the airport. This allowed us to avoid...
