"Just WOW!! Our whole stay was perfect, such friendly staff the island is lovely and green, we stayed in a beach villa right on the beach it was adults only section and the restaurant we had our meals was adults only as well. Meals were all excellent, plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. We were all inclusive as the drinks can add up $12.50 for mocktail and around $15/$16 for a cocktail. Mini bar in room for All Inc refilled everyday. On the all Inc we got the chance to play golf, 1 sun set...

"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. You can see Male as it is really close by, but on the other hand you don't need to spent extra hours for getting to the island. Highly recommend this hotel to all lovers of the tranquil holidays."

"Beautiful, relaxing resort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The seaplane transfer from and back to Male airport was effortless thanks to the helpful staff at the airport and at the resort. On our last night at the resort, staff at the restaurant surprised us with a special table, decorated with a dolphin of colored rice, which was delightful. "Absolutely outstanding week in a water bungalow. Excellent staff and service, facilities, food and could not have had a more brilliant time. It is a magical island and surrounded by unbelievably beautiful incredible sea life. Could not recommend more highly. Susil and Aalif in the outdoor dining, Schoag our room attendant, Shareef at the pool restaurant and Dinnusha the pool lady .... were all especially 5*****!"

"I should've been did this review in Sept 2021 when went for our honeymoon Rm 262. I seem to can't get this place out of my head and want to go back. Hands down from beginning to end, the staff met every need and made sure we were good. They were excellent! Very welcoming and friendly. The food was really good and our over water villa was beautiful. I heard they are doing some renovations. When it's complete we will definitely revisit. "
