Fair and Honest Review of the new Hyatt Vivid: Overall: The hotel will be a beautiful addition to Hyatt hotels, however, there is still a significant amount of construction taking place. If you have a room on the lower level, expect to hear it, even during the night at times. Because it's new not all restaurants are open at the same time, a bit inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. The pools are stunning and the rooms are nicely appointed. Once fully completed I'd give it a 9 out of 10, right now it's probably 7 out of 10. Restaurants: The food is good, but not what I would call great, outside of the French restaurant, which was excellent. The Italian food place has potential, but regardless of what time or how many people were their it was always like chaos and food took forever. Staff: Most of the staff were quite excellent. I will give a special shout out to a couple of people who went well above and beyond. Pool Concierge: Jesus made our stay fully enjoyable Pool Server: Nelly, hands down best at the pool, should be teaching others how to care for guests Bar: Tomas and Carlos listened and made drinks the way people asked them to be made, which is a priceless commodity Rooms: Room was very nice, it's very modern hotel, lots of glass and concrete. If you want more Mexican feel, don't go here. We loved it. Bed was comfortable, and the view was awesome!

Please be aware this is a new property (April 2024) and they are still working out the details. The layout of the property is stunning - especially the rooftop pool area. They are still building the sister property (Dreams). The service was wonderful - if you go the Beach side ask for Daniel and Carlos. If you go to the main buffet - sit in Jeni’s section. Overall we are looking forward to going again!
