"Lovely place to stay. Great hosts, really friendly and very helpful. Fernleigh is on a nice quiet street. A couple of good pubs just round the corner. The owners even mòved their car so we could tuck our motorbike on the drive. Would recommend without question. Oh,and a first class breakfast with proper tea!"

"We stayed in this beautifully presented, immaculately clean guest house for two nights. Size wise, our room was much as expected from a guest house, it was very well equipped (including a fridge) and had a nice walk in en-suite shower. An extremely generous traditional cooked breakfast was provided in the base dining room (there was a choice of standard fried, with all the trimmings, or scrambled or poached eggs plus additional items such as kippers if ordered in advance). "Amazing stay..staff lovely and good breakfast.. the location was central to everywhere and views were fantastic. The pub gets very busy showing its popularity. The room was great very spacious with everything one needs. The bed was a little weird and felt uneven but didn't stop us sleeping after busy days exploring the area. If theres any criticism its having no plugs near the bed to plug phones or fan in but i would definitely stay here if visiting the area again..thank you to the staff for...
