"I would recommend this place to a friend going to Stresa. A comfortable apartment, well located and relatively reasonable price. One important point is that the checkin is at Hotel Meeting one block down the street. If one does not know this one would have trouble. Expedia should do a better job of making this clear and I think Villa Maurice or Hotel Meeting should send an email explaining this to everyone who makes a reservation. That is my only criticism."

"DON'T BOOK. The Carducci 24 B&B no longer exists. We arrived on 1st October 2017 to find a hotel with its shutters down, gates locked and no answer from the bell or first 5 phone calls. Eventually got hold of the owner who told us they don't even live in Stresa and the hotel closed down ages ago. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
