"This is a lovely property on the edge of the Broads. It was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was very helpful. There is easy access to Norwich and the coast, and some lovely walks into the Broads from the doorstep. There isn't a shop in the village, but Acle is less than 10 minutes drive and has a small supermarket, pubs and takeaways. The big supermarkets in Great Yarmouth are only 15 minutes away."

"We stayed for a two night weekend break, the hotel was spotless and followed Covid guidelines. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming. The hotel is well located for local trips and the small town is very nice with a few interesting individual shops. The highlight of the hotel is its restaurant, we decided to have dinner there both evenings and were very impressed with the quality of food with a good wine menu. "

"The room was very nice and good value. Enjoyed having a bath in the bedroom (but no soap for the bath (had my own luckily),nice shower soap etc,but fixed to the wall in the bathroom,which is great for the shower itself and appreciated,but difficult to get some out for the bath,in the bedroom. No big deal,but just a small point. But the building suffers for a lack of a bar . It just feels too sterile with the lack of a front face to the business. "The staff are really friendly, the room is a good size and the beds comfy. The room is clean, but unfortunately as soon as we opened the door we were hit by the smell of smoke. It’s a non smoking room, but clearly the previous occupants had been smoking. The cleaner had left the window open and we were given an air freshener to spray but it didn’t help. The hotel was full so couldn’t be moved. A real shame, a child and 2 non smokers, it spoilt the stay really."
