"Staff were friendly at check-in, and explained all we needed to know regarding the hotel and bar. We ate dinner at the hotel, and the food was superb, chatting to chef after meal service had ended, it was obvious they take great pride in their food. The (family) room was very spacious for the two of us, and the corner shower cubicle in the en-suite bathroom was a generous size. Complimentary upgrade to double deluxe (Bed was superking & super comfy) Room facilities and room cleanliness were great, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to visiting again."

"The staff are really friendly, the room is a good size and the beds comfy. The room is clean, but unfortunately as soon as we opened the door we were hit by the smell of smoke. It’s a non smoking room, but clearly the previous occupants had been smoking. The cleaner had left the window open and we were given an air freshener to spray but it didn’t help. The hotel was full so couldn’t be moved. A real shame, a child and 2 non smokers, it spoilt the stay really."
