"Best thing about this hotel was the entertainment and entertainment staff. Loved that were performances of some sort every evening. Karaoke night was my favorite. Food was good, not great. One thing that could be an improvement is hygiene of the staff. I know that many of them work long and hard shifts but part of customer service is to have neat & tidy service staff. I'd recomment a shower room or staff quarters where staff can get fresh uniform changes and tidy up if needed. If you don't like...

"the Riu Montego Bay was very clean. The service was very attentive and respectful. I would definitely stay again. However, I do believe that you need to watch who comes in and out of your lobby. My first stay, I was in the lobby and some Jamaican gentlemen picked me out of the crowd, walked up to me swiftly grabbed my hand, and said "You are beautiful, and I am going to be your boyfriend. He tried to lure me to his vehicle. He said he wanted to buy me a birthday gift. (I was celebrating my birthday, but I had not told anyone because I was traveling alone). Once I shouted NO out loud and attracted other people, he vanished. That frightened me so I only attended daytime events. The remaining of the nights I stayed locked in my room since I was traveling alone. I attended daytime events."
