"The condo was in a very chic historic neighborhood full of intellectuals and cats. There are many hills and stairs to get around in the neighborhood and is a good way to explore and exercise at the same time. The condo itself is located on the fourth floor with no elevator but once you get up there you are in a stress free zone with a magnificent view. Galataport which is a brand new shopping and eating district is a 7 minute walk down from the condo with some of the best that Istanbul has to...

"The flat was nice, spacious, well-furnished and had beautiful massive windows (lots of sunlight). The washing machine was very handy to have. However, it could have been cleaner (there was dust on the floor [clean but as if not cleaned recently or cleaned but not thoroughly & small square pillows in bedroom were disgusting - yellowish from peoples' sweat). A drawback is that there is no sound proof and it is easy to get distracted by noises from the street. Also, there was no tissues at all...

"Ugurcan is an amazing host. The penthouse views are absolutely breathtaking. We were a family of 6 and had a blast. The location is outstanding the neighbour is fantastic for groceries, cafes and restaurants. The tram is super close. We can't say enough of our wonderful experience."

"The apartment is really lovely and the host was very communicative and nice. That being said, there is a big issue with water leak in the bathroom and terrible sewer smell. We informed the host and they tried to fix it while we were there but to no luck. In addition, there was a water leak in the apartment underneath our terrace so one afternoon we had workers disturbing us as they were fixing it. I tried to attach pictures but hotels.com crashes each time."

"For a female solo traveler this was perfect, just a 8 minute walk from Taksim Square - away from the noise but not too secluded! Felt very safe and very clean and staff was very helpful and polite! It’s on a semi-steep road so keep that in mind for luggage haha. Perfect stay! Definitely booking again next time "
