This was our first experience in Mexico and at an all-inclusive resort and we came for my daughter’s high school graduation trip. Everything about this resort is top notch from check-in to check-out. The staff was friendly and helpful, food was as good with plenty of options. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was beautiful and very roomy. Even though it is a family resort and there were young kids it never seemed loud or noisy. Our favorites were hanging by the main pool, Victor kept the drinks coming and we enjoyed Zama and Bite Bar for lunch, Diego at the swing bar on the beach and lounging in the hammock on our balcony. The whole place was pristine and exceeded our expectations! The only somewhat negative is the beach is very narrow but you’re right next to their pier and the ferry that can tak you over to Isla Mujeras for beaches and snorkeling.

second time at villa del palmar and it’s still amazing. i do wonder if they transferred ownership, the food used to be much better than it was this time. however, it is still much better than your typical resort food. the food is always fresh, hot, and you can tell it’s not reheated. i would encourage making reservations for the restaurants in advance for dinner. i also love that you don’t have to play musical chairs to get a seat poolside or at the beach. what i didn’t like was the push for the time share / tour of the new facility next door. the only thing i feel this place is lacking is like a designated place that serves coffee and ice cream / pastries. i feel like if they had a little coffee shop/dessert place this would be a HIT. maybe add an extension to the Legends grill and the patio as soon as you exit the lobby onto the resort grounds would be the perfect place to enjoy your coffee / ice cream / dessert. the manager at Zama is amazing, shout out to him, and Fridgen at the reception desk was super awesome !!! overall we were extremely happy with our stay and will be back. the perfect family friendly resort that isn’t too busy. room service is also sooo delicious.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding our recent stay at your hotel. Overall, our four-night experience was pleasant, and we were satisfied with the service and accommodations provided. However, I must address a concerning incident that occurred during our last night, which significantly impacted our stay. Between 2 am and 3 am, we were disturbed by loud drilling noises coming from the room directly above ours. The intensity of the noise caused considerable distress, leaving my family and me feeling fearful and disoriented. Despite our efforts to calm ourselves, the relentless drilling persisted, depriving us of sleep for the remainder of the night and leaving us physically and emotionally drained the following day. The impact of this incident has been profound, and even weeks later, we still find ourselves haunted by the memory of that unsettling night. It detracted from what would have otherwise been a memorable stay at your establishment. As valued guests, we expected a certain level of comfort and tranquility, especially during late hours. Unfortunately, the disturbance we experienced fell short of these expectations, leaving us dissatisfied with our overall experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
