"This was a good location for visiting Brighton - walking along the pier was a nice way to end the day and local amenities were close by. Buses to other sites of interest run nearby - the Seven Sisters Country Park was an easy trip and worthwhile visit. Having the check in information a few days in advance was helpful because it is not at the site of the flat."
"The room was so spacious and comfortable. Stunning breakfast in our room as well. I particularly appreciated the bell boy service. We had walked a great distance with our luggage and the bell boy was swift to help when we arrived. The overall experience was glorious. Thank you! "
"Two days for a birthday weekend in Brighton. Really nice little hotel, clean rooms, well-located for all the main attractions and plus a cosy bar. Friendly staff. Perfect and just what we wanted"

"Good service with good choice for breakfast. Quick check in and out. Decor is tired looking and needs a face lift. Otherwise bed was comfy and good size to room. "
"Great location for Brighton. Overlooked the Marina and on an easy bus route into the city. Loads of bistros and other foodie places very close at reasonable prices.
Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Room was tight, but as this was a short stay, not an issue.
Overall, very pleased with this stay"
"Booked for special wedding anniversary. Lovely sea view room with king bed. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times. Room very modern and clean."

"We’ve stayed at the Old Ship several times, as it tends to be the best value for money. We love the central sea front location (and are prepared to put up with a bit of city noise… the complimentary ear plugs are a nice touch), sea views are well worth paying a bit extra for, and we even enjoy the 100 year old lift …. on the occasional time it arrives before we opt for the stairs instead (it is described optimistically as ‘a bit slow’). Very pleasant staff too. Looking forward to our next stay. "
