"The place was exactly as described. The area was decent with no issues. With that being said, there was a swarm of wood bees that should probably be removed from that area. They don’t bother us, however, if you aren’t familiar with them, you would have been freaked out. The only other thing I think that needs to be added is direction on what to do with the towels and bed linens that we used. Also, directions for the TV. We would stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone...

"This property was located in a resort with several other cottages and homes yet it was nice and quiet. The cottage we stayed in was clean and was very well equipped with all your kitchen needs. Our get away was more about relaxing away from people so we didnt utilize the lake, but it was easily accessible just minutes from where we were. The hottub was clean and ready to use. "There are a lot of places that have really good locations but the property is only so so. That is not the case with this property. The location is perfect even within bardstown. All of the distilleries and restaurants that we wanted to visit were no longer than an hour outside of bardstown. The rental was clean and the attention to details were the cherry on top. "We planned this stay to take advantage of the Bourbon Trail. We were able to visit many distilleries due to their close proximity of this home! The home is beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We took advantage of the outside gas grill and cooked some delicious steaks one night. Brickhouses are right next door which was a special treat to see. We will definitely stay here again!"
