"The hotel was under construction, so very dusty, noise and elevators down a few times. Would have been nice to know that before booking. Room was great and location perfect. "
"Overall I consider the best choice for upscale place in Chicago. Hard to beat the blend of French hospitality and impeccable service. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. Other “more luxurious” competitors come with pretentions tgat reduce feeling at home. "
"Loved the concierge downstairs that helped us decide on our room. Super friendly. The room was stunning!! All around loved my stay and would reccomend anyone there 2 times over"

"Great place "
A verified traveler from Chatsworth stayed at River Hotel
"Everything was great besides it is an older building and older furniture they use. Our ac system did not work in our first room but we were able to get set up to a new room asap. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to the subway and was a close walk to pretty much everything. "
