The hotel experience is average at most, there is no advantage to pay more when there are so many hotels nearby. Pros: The staff is very nice. Close to French Quarter, very good location. Cold water available at the lobby to freshen up. Top eateries right at the hotel. Cons: The pool is underwhelming. Rooms are tight quarters. Lots of hidden fees for room service and incidentals. Bathroom didn’t have a fan so it was always steaming up. Gym is below average. Our travel companions stayed at the JW Marriot and it was much better regarding the price, the gym, the room was more spacious and they are close to each other. We will be staying there next time!

Customer service was basically none existent. We were there for 2 nights and on the 2nd day, we requested a room service while out for a walk around town in the afternoon. Came back around 400pm and the room was not cleaned. Told housekeeping several times and even went down to reception and told them. NOTHING WAS DONE. There were even housekeeping on the same floor and they pretended going to check the room. At 530pm, new cleaning crew came in and they know nothing about the room cleaning. Apparently the earlier crew went home and did not tell the new crew anything about our room. We decided not to have the room cleaned for the night.

The lobby is gorgeous but pool area needs updated badly. The rooms are average. Need some updates. The staff are super nice and helpful. The free water and Aesop toiletries make this hotel stand out.

Top to bottom the experience was outstanding! Service was so great that I jokingly said, when I dropped a towel a person appeared to catch it before it hit the ground. Thank you for a perfect experience.
