"Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals...

"This was a great place to stay with family. They even had a pack and play for infant sleeping and plenty of room in the master for it to fit. We really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with pots pans, spatulas, silverware and plates. Everything we needed to have a family dinner, with a nice big dinning table that fit everyone! (It could have easily fit 10 people!) I would definitely/ hope to book this home for vacation with my family again!"

"It was difficult to go inside because the view was so compelling! We were 7 adults and 2 small kids and had plenty of rooms and plenty of room to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed and seats for everyone. Location ideal. The house did have two room air conditioners but it was tough to keep all parts of that large house cool. We had record heat during our stay in July so that was part of it. Overall great for a family visiting Lake Tahoe."

"Great property with a fantastic view of the lake. Plenty of room for our family of five adult children. My oldest son, his wife and daughter (18 mos) had their own room and bathroom. The house was very nice and well appointed. The hot tub worked great! The only criticism we had for the owner is that the grounds were not very well kept. There were lots of pine needles that could have easily been blown off the stairs and areas prior to guests arriving. There is miscellaneous trash - wrapper,...

"Beautiful and Well Maintained Home. We ( My Wife two Sons and a Daughter in-law ) could not have asked for more. The View of the Lake from every room was Spectacular and the House had everything that you would need to have an enjoyable Time. I see other post about this House addressing the stairs. Me and my wife are both 63 years old and in Semi Good shape. I am not going to lie we were a little out of breath by the time we got to our room at the top but it would not be a deterrent for us going...

"Front desk clerk was nice and accommodating. Great location and price. Only negative was there that there were several small spiders and webs in the cabin. Ended up taking some home in my luggage. "
