Upon arrival the person at the front didn’t know much obviously because of lack of training. Once we found our cabin there was nowhere for us to park due to inadequate parking and no enforcement on proper parking in the few spots there were. WiFi password did not work. Extremely spotty cell service which was expected in Yellowstone but there was no phone in the room or any type of way to call in the event of an emergency. Trash doesn’t get picked up unless you request it. Which is very odd to me. To add to that the trash bin was very small. There was trash all over the park in this area that obviously has been out there for a while and the rest of the park did NOT look like that. Everyday we saw new trash accumulating with the old trash. Lots of staff around but it seemed like they were made to work on the make readys for new incoming customers and not concerned about people already there. Even with temps in the low 40s our room was freezing cold with the heater off and windows open upon arrival. It will take a while to warm your room up. We tried calling the front desk but the only number we were given was for booking a room not to receive any actual help. Had great shampoo and conditioner

You are kind of out in no where here. The rooms are old and very short bathroom shower. No tv or air in the cascada building. We got lucky it wasn’t hot but we did have a fan in the room which helped.

Loved the location and the variety of accommodations. Disappointed that check-in was delayed by 40 minutes due to shortage of cleaning staff, but understand that staffing is hard in the US these days. The room was nice, but not fancy. Food options in a 300 yard radius were so-so, as staffing and early-season might have had an effect. Overall, a good stay to see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, which is amazing.

There are not a lot of food options, just the diner which wasn’t great. Other than that, the hotel was super cute, friendly staff. WiFi is super spotty, but to be expected in the park.

Loved everything about Canyon Lodge (location, service, etc) except dinning. One runs out of food options at the Canyon Dinning Hall on Memorial Day.

Everyone that worked here were great. However, food is very limited, the wifi is spotty, and no amenities. Would have been nice to have a jacuzzi or indoor pool.

The room itself was very nice. We stayed 3 nights. Our room was never cleaned or restocked even though we called the front desk and were told it was to be cleaned every day. No microwave and limited times for food service.

I liked that the property was inside yellowstone but the lack of TV and microwave and garbage liners was a bit much... further more there were no reasonable dining options within 2 hours of the hotel, so the lack of a microwave was not really humane.. There was a super loud mechanical noise in the building all night that made it near impossible to sleep... complete and utter crap. You have no choice and this place knows it.

Conveniently located in the park. Compared to other park lodging, this is the nicest and newest looking. The food leaves a lot to be desired but it’s clean, centrally located and has lots of rooms.

Nice cabins. Very clean. Could do more to make stay more comfortable. Cabin was freezing when we entered. No one checked our trash or towels during our stay. Front desk said we had to request it, but they never mentioned anything during check in.
