Our room was a kitchenette. It looked like a recent renovation had been done and was very nice. Good bed, well stocked with kitchen supplies and even had a little dishwasher which was great. We had a three day stop over on our way back to BC so room worked well. However, the room was very small, especially for a kitchenette. Also, the doors in this hotel are very heavy so they were very loud when closing. There were several charging outlets and plugs that didn’t work so it was challenging keeping all of our devices charged.

We paid extra for the “newer” rooms. There were no others to move into. Once we arrived staff were amazing, but , our accommodations we’re not being met. Our wifi was not working our entire stay, as well our suite stunk of rot/old garbage & the suite has no bathroom fan so the smell was there permanently. We we’re staying in Winnipeg for a basketball tournament and we’d never come back. The staff are kind, but the hotel itself is garbage. The complements breakfast machines weren’t working either. No internet our whole stay was troublesome & the smell was terrible. Please , check the rooms before. To pay extra for the bigger and newer rooms & have these issues is bad. Paying extra for less accommodations is poor. Thank you for your time but I will most likely never return to this hotel. Once again, the staff are kind. But the hotel is not.

The lobby looked fresh and well presented. The friendly staff helped me check in easily and placed me in a room near the elevator due to my disability. The room i had was spacious and well equipped with everything i needed. The shower was recently redone and was great. I loved the sitting area with the sofa. The bed and linens seemed old, but the bed was very comfortable and i slept well. I didnt hear noise at all.
