Reception at the spa is the same: quick explanations, we had the impression to catch a train instead of being welcomed to a wellness spa (a smile with a sweet voice would be a plus for the 500€ we spent during 1day+1night, even during rush hours). "Lovely hotel. Suite was huge as was bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Relaxing bar offered a free welcome drink. The problem was that we booked parking for a car of unknown size as we were renting it the day before. They left it out on the street not in a parking spot which they said was ok as it was Sunday. They promised to park it the next day but it was still there Monday morning. They refused to park it as it had turned out that the car was bigger than they anticipated. They did not reach out...

"The single bed room was the smallest so far among where I have lived in Europe. The bathroom was therefore also the smallest I have ever experienced, which was not very convenient for showers. The location was top. The staff speaks English and was friendly. The service team in the breakfast cafe was not as friendly as the hotel staff but okish. Overall, I would recommend the place for small budget travellers but I myself wouldn't choose it the next time I visit Strasbourg."

"You can't beat the location, right across from the entrance to the Cathedral. The hotel is in a very old building and they have done a good job of updating over time. Our attic room had a flight of stairs inside the door to the room and had a level above that. Service was good, cleanliness generally good, but there was a lot of sandy debris on the bedcover when we arrived - I assume because the windows had been left open. We cleaned it off and it did not show up again. Would stay there again,...

"Very nice hotel with excellent staff just outside of the train station making transportation very good. It is about a quarter mile to the Grand Isle and easily walkable to the tourist area. I am glad I stayed there and would stay there again."
