"Only stayed 2 nights, but had a very comfortable, quiet room. We had asked for a disabled adapted room, and that was what we got. Ground floor, with a very spacious, well designed bathroom with walk in shower. The only slight drawback was that the shower floor was a bit slippy when covered with soapy water, but this is common in many hotels and we always keep a rubber suction mat in the back of the car. "Great stopover location with gorgeous food in next door restaurant. Warm welcome from staff. Our room was a tad small (with 2 dogs) & a little tired but that’s our fault for booking the most basic room. Would stay again in better quality room. "

"You can't beat the location, right across from the entrance to the Cathedral. The hotel is in a very old building and they have done a good job of updating over time. Our attic room had a flight of stairs inside the door to the room and had a level above that. Service was good, cleanliness generally good, but there was a lot of sandy debris on the bedcover when we arrived - I assume because the windows had been left open.
