"We, as a company, booked two rooms for our employees and from what they told us, everything went smoothly. One of the rooms, had an issue where he couldn’t get into his room because the key wouldn’t work. It took about an hour and a half but it was resolved. However, it did get resolved and overall, it was a good stay for both of them. This is the second time we have booked here for employees and have been very satisfied with the service. "

"We made a last minute decision to spend two nights at the Carlisle Inn for graduation events. We made a great choice! We booked a regular room and received a complimentary upgrade to a room with a full kitchen which was lovely because I had to work on the Friday we were there, and the island connected to the kitchen was ideal for meetings. The hotel staff helped my husband find quiet meeting rooms/spaces for his meetings. The breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs, sausage, homemade biscuits, baked oatmeal, and fresh pastries from the bakery along with the usual hotel breakfast fare connected to the hotel. It was the first time I’ve looked forward to breakfast on the second morning of my stay at a hotel in a long time. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Their motto is peace and comfort, and the hotel exemplified that motto. If I need to stay in the Sarasota area again in the future, I’ll return to the Carlisle Inn. (Note: It’s not in the downtown area or right by the beach, but both are easily accessible, and the quieter area contributed to the peaceful feeling there.)"
