I liked the fact that Barcelo was outside of the tourist area of PV and a little quieter than some of the other area resorts… The hotel is in desperate need of some renovations. There were some items in the room that didn’t work or were broken and the general condition of the hotel was old. This will be a great place to stay when the updates are implemented

We have a good time to the hotel but what I didn’t like don’t know what was but we got a lot of bites. Maybe some flies in the room or bugs we don’t know exactly but when we wake up, we have a lot of marks on the skin.

The volume of sound for poolside activities seemed distracting especially the amount of dialogue which also was difficult to understand.. the amount of folks involved in these activities doesn’t warrant the sound system. Checking in and out folks were great. Food service personnel were very attentive . Specialty restaurant experience was very good.
