"My week vacation at Bay Cottage was wonderful and relaxing. Ed was a great host, giving me so much helpful information about the room, property and Port Townsend. I was welcomed with fresh cut flowers and a plate of fresh berries with homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies. Enjoyed the cottage’s nice private deck to sit on as well as the community patio overlooking the beach and water. Many, many thanks!"

"I always rely on reviews to choose my stays, so I always want to be helpful to others. This property was very nice and secluded. It has two lower units and one upper unit. Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. "The staff and service are excellent! The room was very clean and comfortable. I was a little disappointed with the ADA room. The bed was very high and hard for my mom who has mobility issues to get in. "With all my boys hitting 18 or older, it’s been harder to find something exciting and new to do for all their birthdays that fall within two weeks of each other. We have always loved visiting Sequim and the animal game farm. I was happily surprised to learn of this festive and unique castle that was full of all the fun amenities like costumes, decor, medieval type dishes, furniture, etc. It was really fun. My only regret is not staying longer."

My only VERY minor complaint is that when you order the breakfast-to-go that it was very simple and things I had actually already brought with us, unfortunately. "First off soup and cookies are so needed when you get in late on a Friday night after work like we did. The pool and hot tub make this place the best, like I said we wanted to make the most of the weekend so we set right after work drove all evening got there around eight I think and it almost feels like a waste of money to buy a motel room for two nights when you know you get there so late, but being able to hit the pool for the kido and the hot tub for mom and dad was just what we needed after...

"Great room and great service! They had to put us in one of their other motels, Emerald Best Motel, due to overbooking but our stay was great. We stayed one night for a concert. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and overall just wonderful. Would stay here again if we come up this way :) Thank you for the wonderful service!"
