Fashion District
Wholesale retailers make up most of this extensive clothing center, where you’ll find some of the city’s best bargains and discounts.

The Fashion District is the city’s heart of apparel, with a comprehensive selection of clothing. It has everything from upscale boutiques and brands to warehouses and retail showrooms displaying the latest in Los Angeles fashions. Prepare to spend money as you explore the commercial avenues with friends on a visit to the Fashion District.

Stroll down famed Santee Alley and enjoy the fun and frenetic vibe. Browse the range of clothes hanging from the walls of the stalls lining the street. Colorful umbrellas and awnings adorn this pedestrian walkway, where you’ll also find perfumes, accessories and toys.

Visit some of the hundreds of wholesale stores selling fashion items at lower retail prices. Choose from the eclectic array of beads, trims and fabrics. A trendy vibe is noticeable among the wholesale showrooms, where prestigious designers and influencers gather. Watch stylish people go by in this trendy zone.

For something a little different, enter the LA Flower District, which is filled with stalls showcasing fresh-cut floral gems. Among the highlights are the Original Los Angeles Flower Market and the Southern California Flower Market.

Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants scattered across the area and visit the art exhibitions in Gallery Row. Admire the renovated condos and lofts that add to the district’s elegance.

The shops have individual opening times, but tend to run daily from morning until early evening. Check the district’s official website for the schedule for exclusive markets and fashion events held here.

Find the Fashion District on the southern side of the Downtown Los Angeles zone in the heart of the city. It stands between University Park, the 27th Street Historic District and the Arts District. To get here, travel by bus to one of the stops lining the zone’s streets. Visit some of the nearby attractions, such as the Grammy Museum LA Live, the STAPLES Center and the Regent Theater.
