"Check in was very fast My room was 1037 Big and clean Fast internet Breakfast: Simple but very good. Shrimp and pork dumplings were to die for. I ate 10 of them. All hotel staff was very nice. They called a taxi right away when I needed one. No laundry facilities but the front office was able to locate one for me This hotel is next to the river with great night views of the Oriental Pearl Tower. I had a facial at the Spa. The lady that helped me was very nice. "

"The unit has an epic view of the river, which is the best of the whole experience. The bad experience can start with a bad wifi connection. the power outlet on the office desk section is broken. Hence they have to provide the power extension core. Also the fridge is not working as well. Not to mention, somehow the AC was set at 30 degrees, which is hot as hell and cannot be changed and I have to call in a repairs guy. "Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy. "Good location at the end of the Bunds. River view is great if room is in the mid or right section of the building facing towards the city night lights. Staff understand some English. Walk to the Yuyang old street and Yu garden is about 20mins. "
