"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. "The unit has an epic view of the river, which is the best of the whole experience. The bad experience can start with a bad wifi connection. the power outlet on the office desk section is broken. Hence they have to provide the power extension core. Also the fridge is not working as well. Not to mention, somehow the AC was set at 30 degrees, which is hot as hell and cannot be changed and I have to call in a repairs guy. Overall not a terrible experience but definitely did not hold up to its...

"Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy. "Though location is great right on the bend the front desk staff makes this a very uncomfortable hotel. The rooms are large for China but they are kept wat to warm and the WiFi strength is very poor. I can’t recommend this hotel"

"Horrible experience. Apparently we didn't get there in their timely manner because they gave our room away. This was after we paid $120 to get there from Pudong airport. Then had to pay an additional $100 to get to the Hongqiao airport after not having a room. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not only was that horrible enough it is a shady set up."
