"It was really nice. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere the closest Dollar General and Walmart is about 30 minutes away but the quietness was worth it. The only downside was no Verizon phone service but the upside no one called me. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay."

"My wife & I loved this cozy little cabin! It was perfect for us. It's over 100 years but you can tell it's been kept with love! We loved the rustic feel and floors. The home was clean and I loved the back porch area. I sat out there for hours just staring at the lake & mountain view. The gas station is in walking distance and there is a dollar general about 3 miles away for a quick store run. Getting to Boone is only a 10 minute drive. "Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games....

"It was a very nice little spot I did however think that it was further off the road and not as many neighbors but they were very friendly and really nice people and we had just as much privacy as if we didn’t have anyone around us. It was a little pricey for me considering it was only 2 days as small at was but all around I have no complaints I enjoyed my stay"

"We came here 2 summers ago and stayed in Creekside cabin and fell in love with the surroundings! You can hear the creek everywhere you are, even while inside the cabin. When returning for a long Easter weekend, we brought family and rented the other cabin on the property as well (Trout Retreat) which made for a fun-filled, yet relaxing, mountain retreat. "The cabin was so nice! Great views, very clean, well stocked. It was a bit farther than I realized but that’s on me. We were never able to find the cut through road. We did stop at the “private property” sign and turned around on our way in. I looked at the reviews and saw that we could use that road. It’s a big time saver."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
