"The house was perfect for my wife and I as well as Deuce, our dog. Right on the creek where I caught a trout on my first cast. Loved listening to the water in the morning as I drank my coffee, excellent local coffee by the way. Great location for Boone and Blowing Rock. Just don’t take Jake’s Mountain Road, didn’t see the note beforehand. Will come back in the fall!!"

"It was a beautiful stay. But beware not internet for cell service. They do seem to have a stink bug infestation, so they were flying around inside. Over all we loved the creek and secluded feeling."

The kitchen was well appointed well stocked beautifully done very rustic. The beds were so comfortable and the blankets were heavenly. My kid loved the loft area, that’s where she slept. "We came up to celebrate a wedding, it got complicated and had to be changed to a day earlier due to the bride's medical emergency, the wedding occurred at the hospital and the emotions were constantly changing, everyone is healthy now and with this place it was nice to relax after such a stressful event. We saw many deer on the rides back to the property usually at dusk. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to escape reality!"
