"A lovely place to stay. Feels like home. Beautiful maintained and very close to everything you need for a relaxing holiday! No negatives!! Love this place!"
"Property is nice and clean employees very nice the only bad is this is the first resort where I stayed that check out is at 10am . Everywhere else is at 11am with some even at 12am"
"Showing its age but it looks as though renovation is happening. Clean rooms, nicely decorated but carpet is old and faded. The pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing. But, for the price, I’d give it another chance. "
"Poer outage for a full day. Beacg are a disaster (full of debris), family pool deck under reconstruction (jack hammers ongoing throughout the day), limited restaurant options."

"We asked for and were told we had late checkout at 2:00. They couldn’t accommodate 4:00, but for a fee could do 2:00. I okayed the fee. We got back from our massage in our last day and were locked out. We wasted 30 minutes of our paid for extra time to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The when we were back in the room a housekeeper walked in on me- naked , just out of the shower. Not the best way to end our trip. "
"Let’s start off with check in…it’s easy.
Your reservation is held for you and upgrades are offered when available for purchase. A great offer.
You are at an older hotel…get over it. It’s beautiful and is walkable to downtown Kailua. ABC is across the street.
You will have one of three towers. The lagoon, Alii and the Bay.
The pool is amazing and the view is what you are paying for, totally awesome.
Parking: easy. Your room key gets you in and out. It’s self parking.
Your room will...

If you are an early riser you need to hit breakfast early to save time and not be in line. 6:45 latest.
Happy hour is at 4. If there is entertainment that evening I recommend getting a table at 3:45-4
If you are lucky to be waited on by Amy she’s amazing and by far your largest resource is a guy named Forest. He has the scoop on the entire property and is kind. "

"Property was nice. Service was great.
Place is dated but probably the best hotel in the area.
No high end resorts in Hilo that I could find. Food and drinks were good. Small pool but was clean and nice view of ocean.
Also I think you can only valet you vehicle which could get expensive if you are there multiple nights in addition to reset fees. It Was $75 extra for fees and valet plus tips for 1 night. Was satisfied w resort for the one night airport stay. "
