Family Friendly Refurbished Detached Country Cottage set in Castle Grounds
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (58)
"Strathendrick House was the first stop in a family trip to the Highlands. We found everything about this beautiful home and the area to be perfect and wish we had planned to stay longer. Hector and Heather were responsive and extremely helpful. We loved visiting the restaurants (delicious food options) and grocer in Drymen and found everyone to be so welcoming and helpful. The excellent rating for this property is very accurate and well deserved."

"I stayed overnight at CrossBasket Castle with my boyfriend as he received a generous voucher for the Michel Roux Jr tasting menu. The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. Look forward to retuning one day."

"Great hotel, we’ve stayed here quite a few times. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The rooms are clean spacious and spacious, great amenities with free mini bar and lounge access. Only complaints would be that beds and pillows need a bit of a refresh. The beds are a bit worn and pillows are very flat. We definitely will be back! "

The Heritage Hotel
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (461)
"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "

Argyll Hotel
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (863)
"Do NOT go to the reception area before the 3:00 check in time! The bearded man behind the counter has no interest in being helpful before that time! After 3:00, he sat behind the counter looking at his phone while a younger man helped the line of people checking in. Other than that, things went smoothly. The young man who checked us in, after 3:00, was pleasant, the bathroom was clean & the room was clean, though small."
