Looking for the perfect getaway to unwind? Our 'Beauty on the Water' 3 Bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect retreat to relax or go out on the town in just a short car ride. With an epic location at the heart of Galveston, this home aims to please all enthusiasts and sits right on Madeline Lake!

THE SPACE - LIVING AREA / KITCHEN & DINING

As soon as you walk through the front door, you'll be welcomed by beautiful tall ceilings with an elegant living room and brick fireplace. You'll also see a full open kitchen with a breakfast bar and views of the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need to prepare small or large meals including a toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and a set of wine glasses for entertaining. Gather around the very inviting kitchen and dining area and look out to the waterfront view of Madeline Lake.

THE SPACE - BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The master bedroom on the main floor is very spacious with a king bed, seating area, television, and en-suite full bathroom complete with a full tub! There is a full water view out of the 4 large windows here too - you'll never want to get out of bed! Also on the main level is a 1/2 bathroom and a laundry area accessible through the garage. The second and third bedrooms are upstairs along with a small office area and another full bathroom. Both contain a queen and double bed and access to the full bathroom. There is also an upper deck off the second bedroom also with amazing views of the lake and extra seating.

THE SPACE - OUTSIDE

Not only is the house comfortable and gorgeous, but the outside is equally as breathtaking. Step out onto the very large back deck with more seating, a grill and enjoy the quiet summer nights on the water. There's additional a space for a small fire, rooftop deck and a boat lift! You are so close to the beach here but feel like you are living in your own little oasis!

Whether you want to enjoy your time the night before you depart for a cruise at the Galveston Cruise Terminal (twenty minutes away), enjoy a day at the beach (less than 5 minutes away), take the family over to Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn (less than five minutes away), or just hang out at home, this location is the place to be!

Perfect location for inside and outside activities!
Very nice home in a quiet lovely neighborhood just across the street from Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. Convenient location to everything on Galveston Island. The lovely outdoor decks and fire pit made it perfect for our family to enjoy our time there. It was our grandbaby’s first time to fish and he caught several perch and even a catfish right off the dock. Gareth was quick to answer any questions we had and we highly recommend this particular rental.

We were in town for a cheer competition at Moody Gardens. This place was perfect, located across the street from Moody Gardens we were able to get back and forth with no issues. We enjoyed our time at the house and the kids were able to some fun outside. The house is very spacious, and we plan to be back next year.

Nice accommodations for spectacular outdoor entertaining
The host was very responsive in communication and we had no trouble accessing the property. The kitchen was very functional and had a nice area to eat and entertain adjoined. The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the deck and water on the back side of the house. The master bedroom also had a really nice bathroom. Overall our stay was nice but there were a few issues with areas that were missed in the cleaning prior to our arrival.

Great weekend on the island
My friends and I decided to do a weekend getaway in Galveston. We went to the water park on Saturday, and Sunday, we spent the day on the beach. This property was amazing and close to everything. It is right across the street from the water park and Moody Gardens. The back patio is amazing and allowed us to relax at the end of the day. I highly recommend this property if you are planning to visit the island.

Perfect location! We spent the weekend to be closer to the softball fields and they were right around the corner. Very close to moody gardens as well. Only set backs were check in info was not sent before we arrived so we had to request it which they responded quickly and was unaware I needed to bring my own toilet paper which is not a big deal.

This home has a wonderful outdoor space on the water and really, really close to Moody Gardens. We enjoyed our time hanging out in the patio and relaxing in the large living area. A big bonus was the high speed internet that can supported multiple users working remotely.

Lovely weekend getaway
Great location, on a waterway, and very close to Moody Gardens. We enjoyed the lovely indoor and outdoor spaces for our weekend getaway. Everyone spent a lot of time in the backyard oasis. We also took advantage of the extra sitting area in the Master Bedroom to allow two different tv shows to be watched and the upstairs loft office area was quite convenient as well. Nice amenities and great communications throughout the rental process. We would stay here again!
