Check in was quick and went smoothly. We go up to our room and after about 30 mins, I find a balled up, severely make-up stained face cloth in a bathroom drawer. I’m abhorred and call the front desk to let them know. Demeris at the front desk, paused for about 5 seconds then said something very sarcastic.
She didn’t apologize or anything! Didn’t offer to have someone come up and remove the used facecloth from the bathroom either. After we hung up I was getting more and more upset about it so I called back down there. Someone answered and hung up. I called right back. A lady picked up the phone and sighed and said “Yes?” I recognized the lady who answered as the same one I’d spoken to before and asked her name and she said Demeris. I told her that I didn’t appreciate her response to my complaint and that I wanted to speak with a manager. She paused for a bit (again!) and said, well do you want me to have somebody come get it, there’s no manager here. I’m like, Yes!! By this point I am absolutely seething. So I go down to the front desk. No one is there. Finally a lady comes out and I ask to see Demeris. When Demeris comes out, I introduce myself as the guest who found the dirty towel in the bathroom. I told her if a guest complains, the FIRST thing you do is apologize. After some other words, I asked for the managers contact and she gave me his card. I should’ve called. But it was late and I was tired. She needs a refresher course on customer service, Now. Terrible attitude.
