"We stayed for 1.5 nights. 1st night I saw one roach in the shower. It was tiny and alone so I was thinking maybe it wasn’t a big deal. I washed it down the drain and all else was fine for the remainder of the first day. We literally got ran out of the hotel the second night because we made the mistake of getting some wings to go. "Very clean room, beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly. Lots of dining options around hotel and all walkable. Only issue we had was each night the phone started making weird beeping noises, and the only way we got it to stop was by taking the phone off the hook, but it wasn't a deal breaker. "I loved my two nights here. This is not a corporate hotel: it's quirky and interesting. Meticulously clean, but a little battered, kind of like all of us. Easy walk to the aquarium, right next door to the ramp to the USS Lexington, right next door to Pier 99 (yes, I went for lunch and then again for dinner, amazing food and so pleasant outdoor seating). Loved my room. Bed was comfy; shower had insane water pressure and wonderful hot water; floors were hard wood (or something), not skanky carpet....
