"We had a great stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful. We really enjoyed the aesthetic; however the room was quite small and did not feel as nice as the rest of the hotel. The staff were wonderful, breakfast and the bar were great. Free parking was fantastic, and we were so close to everything downtown that we mainly just walked everywhere."

The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights. "

"Old Town is a must see in Reykjavik, and this property is in the heart of old town. A beautifully restored cottage with every modern amenity. Our host Elsa provided all basic kitchen necessities, and snugly bathrobes and flip flops. Walk-able to all of the interesting sights in town as well as the waterfront. She left us some excellent recommendations - including the darling Tapas place next door -winner! I recommend this cottage to any first timer or returning visitor and will hopefully get the...
