"Beautiful, modern hotel in Oia! We liked the location as it was a short walk into town, but away from the crowds in Oia when cruise ships came in. Stunning views from the property and the pool is awesome. Rooms are a bit small but I would guess quite a bit bigger than the cave hotels in town, and the property overall is spacious. "The property was beautiful, peaceful and very convenient to Mykonos Town, without being in the middle of the tumult of the cruise ship visitors. Front door to Old Port = less than a 10-minute stroll. "Tamarix was perfect. Big villas, great staff, bar, wonderful buffet breakfast, large pool, some villas have hot tubs. The property is surrounded by restaurants but is in a side street so is not on the busy and loud tourist street. A 2 minute walk to the beach. We loved it so much we were planning to go back before we had even checked out!!!"
